TWOM Governance

Mana Whakahaere

Our Mana Whakahaere (Board of Trustees) provides governance and strategic leadership for Te Wharekura o Manaia. This dedicated group represents our kura community through elected whānau, staff, and student representatives.

Board elections take place every three years, giving our community the opportunity to select representatives who will help shape the future direction of our kura. These representatives work together to ensure our values, vision, and educational goals align with the aspirations of our whānau and community.  Iwi Reps also play a crucial role in our governance body.  Iwi Reps are supported by their iwi governance groups and are seconded to Mana Whakahaere.

If you’re interested in learning more about our Mana Whakahaere or the election process, please contact the school office.
